As I had mentioned earlier, Alison Carroll is a trained gymnast, and has been practicing Lara Croft's moves for 6 months or so.  Looks like the new movie should have fan boys drooling!

Game Preview - Quantum of Solace, James Bond 007

Well, the Leipzig gaming convention is going on, and is currently breaking all sorts of records (more on that later).  They showed a glimpse of the new Bond game - Quantum of Solace.  It looks darker, seems to have more hand-to-hand combat, more running (as in free-running!) and had an Aston Martin on the convention floor.  Woohoo!

Game Review - Guitar Hero on Tour, Nintendo DS

This is retarded! Lame! Slashing on a guitar looks cool, can be made to look cooler. But take this from me - you cannot, cannot be cool if you're trying to strum frantically on a guitar.... on the freaking DS screen!

Game Review - Wii Fit

Kosmix now has a Wii Fit at the office. It was interesting, but nowhere near as addictive as the original Wii sports.

Will it help people get fit? My 2 cents on this - Wii Fit will not be for those who go to the gym or work out even thrice a week. You could burn a lot more calories much faster at the gym... and cardio machines today do have some distracting stats displays to satisfy that need.
For those who don't work out regularly, or are busy, lazy, or not near a gym, the Wii Fit can be a good motivator to get some exercise while having fun, and charting performance.

Forecast - look for women aged 35 - 50 to be the primary users.
